Meet The Team
Joseph Torku
Joseph Torku is Managing Consultant of Palmfields Investments Limited. He has many years of work experience in finance and investment management from the private and public sector.
Joseph worked with Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) where he was Group Head of Real Estate and later Head of Finance for Ecobank East Africa Cluster (EAC). Prior to joining ETI, Joseph was Executive Director of Finance at Shell Ghana and for several years an Investment Analyst with Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). Prior to Palmfields Investments, Joseph was the Managing Director of Goldkey Properties Limited, where he was involved with a number of joint venture transactions with public and private property owners.
Joseph is a Chartered Accountant (ICA) by profession and has an MBA (Banking & Finance) from (CESAG), Senegal, as well as a Diploma in Finance from the University of Berkeley in California, USA. Joseph also studied at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) from where he obtained a BA (Hons) Economics degree and Diploma in Education.
Andrews Kwablah - Management Consultant
Andrews Kwablah brings to the team his more than 25 years of work experience in the public and private sector where he had responsibility for planning, appraisal, engineering and supervision of major infrastructure projects.
Andrews worked as Roads and Transport Planning Engineer on the €40 million Agence Francaisse de Development (AFD) and Government of Ghana funded Kumasi Urban Development Project for the Ministry of Roads and Highways. He also worked on the €98 million African Development Bank and AFD funded Awoshie-Pokuase road; the Urban Development Project and the US$220 million World Bank funded Road Sector Development Project for the Ministry of Roads and Transport, Ghana. He has undertaken several Environmental, Social and Property Impact assessments of large roads and building projects in Ghana. He brings to the team years of experience in public procurement and capacity development as well as project appraisal and evaluation.
Andrews studied at the Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada from where he obtained a Certificate in Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis. He has also participated in several other training programs including Public-Private Partnerships and Advanced Project Finance in Washington DC, USA and the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET) at Carlton University, Ottawa, Canada. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) certificate from the University of Ghana Business School and a M.Sc. Transportation and Road Engineering and I.H.E, from Delft, the Netherlands. He is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana with a B.Sc. (Hons) Civil Engineering degree. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies (distance) at the Walden University in the USA. Andrews is a professional member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers and brings to the team a diversity of experience in engineering and finance.
Tony Crowther-Green - Project Finance Consultant
Tony is an International Capital Project Finance & Business Development Consultant with more than 40 years’ experience delivering successful financing solutions in 40 countries and in the structure and delivery of PFI in the UK and the development of PPP facilities in former Commonwealth Countries.
Tony Crowther-Green spent more than 30 years in International Banking and a further 15 years in Industry as a Project Finance Specialist delivering Tailored Project Financing Solutions in more than 35 countries. These “solutions” often incorporated the benefits of financing structures available with the support of Export Credit Agencies such as ECGD in the UK, the US Eximbank, NCN in the Netherlands and many others.
He moved into Industry with Taylor Woodrow Construction, a major UK business where initially he worked in the development of the UK’s Private Finance Initiative, “PFI”. This was initially as a part of the PFI Team on project development and assisting in the development of banking relationships for PFI funding and advisory arrangements. Tony raised funds for Taylor Woodrow (TW) projects in Africa and other areas where TW was active; this included bringing the benefit of “Soft Funding” to appropriate TW Projects. A considerable amount of time was spent in Ghana for Taysec working with Aid Agencies, Banks and Development Finance Institutions, with Lawyers active in the financial sector and Public Private Partnerships.
Tony’s main area of focus remains Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa with a much wider experience in developing financing and financial solutions for different clients in a variety of environments.
Andy Scott
Andy Scott has over 5 years working experience in administration, finance, accounts payables analysis, payroll management, claims processing and payment tracking. He has worked across sectors including the Telecoms, Public Administration, Health and the Financial.
He holds BBA (Accounting) from Valley View University and currently a student member with a professional certificate awarding body; Association of Certified Chartered Economist (ACCE).
